So, we spent several days of the last week living in a van down by the river!
Well, it was a very small river, really. More of a creek, I suppose. Nephew Antonio came out with sister Cat for a visit, and he noticed that there were radishes growing in the river (you can see them in a couple of the above photos). I ate one, but it was a bit past it's prime.
On the upside, there were tons of fresh pears and apples that were delicious indeed!

I took lots of photos and video at Burning Man. Here's the first batch; these ones are of various art, mostly sculpture of different types:

There's also a video of the bottle thing that does the piece justice; the still photo doesn't really give you the full view. I've got to dig it up; I'll post it ASAP

So we spent 340$ at The Shop fixing the water pump, flushing the transmission and checking out the brakes, and five miles out of town a huge chunk flew off one of our tires
